Maslow’s is part of FareStart, an organization helping to transform people’s lives through food by providing real solutions to poverty, homelessness, and hunger. Maslow’s gets its name from Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. He believed all people seek to fulfill their basic needs before moving on to the next level. Maslow’s is FareStart’s next level. The restaurant is part of a paid apprenticeship program designed to help individuals take defining steps in their lives and careers, to rise up out of poverty and toward a living wage on their journey to prosperity.
For our group, Maslow's chefs have created a special family-style dinner that highlights some of their best offerings and includes local and seasonal proteins and vegetables. To attend, you must RSVP below, as we have limited capacity for this event and the restaurant needs a firm headcount. Each registrant will be issued their own, individual check. Please note that any cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any late cancellation charges.
