Volunteer Opportunity at Kirkland Shamrock Run

The Kirkland Shamrock Run 5K Race & Family Fun Run will be held next Saturday, March 16th in downtown Kirkland, with almost 2000 runners currently signed up. This race is a great way for the Kirkland community to unite and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Race organizers are looking for more volunteers (ages 16+) along the entire race route to warn drivers of the running race and to select alternate routes. Volunteers will also receive a complimentary t-shirt, visor, food/coffee, and a free admission to the Redmond Derby Days Dash in July.
The Harvard Club of Seattle and the Princeton Club of Western Washington are jointly arranging a group sign-up for this event. If you’re interested in participating, please contact Samantha Gridley '12 (sgridley29@gmail.com) by Wednesday, March 13th to be included in the group sign-up. We’ll try to get Harvard & Princeton volunteers together for a self-funded lunch after the event!
You can also sign up individually at http://volunteerkirkland.com/. More details on the race can be found here:http://kirklandshamrockrun.com/ and here: https://www.facebook.com/ShamrockRun.
