Dr. William Ericson is a graduate of MIT and Harvard Medical School, and is an award-winning board certified orthopedic hand surgeon. His observation and explanation of a subtle physical finding has led to an entirely new understanding of common hand and arm problems.

Join us for an exciting evening of anatomy and physics! Dr. Ericson '79 will give his award winning talk on “An Anatomic Basis for RSI," which covers thumb/wrist and arm pain, including causes and cures. The evening will include heavy appetizers and a no-host bar.

Biography: 
William B. Ericson, Jr., MD, FACS, FAAOS 

Dr. Ericson is a graduate of MIT (Course VII, 1979) and Harvard Medical School (1983), and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is also fellowship-trained and board certified in hand surgery. He is an award winning clinician with a special interest in painful conditions that do not show on standard diagnostic tests, in particular what laymen refer to as Repetitive Strain Injury. 

After 30 years in the Boston area, Dr. Ericson moved to Seattle area in 2005, and established the Ericson Hand Center, and he performs surgery at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. Dr. Ericson belongs to over 20 specialty societies and was the Chief of Hand Surgery at Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA from 1994 until 2005, and he is a past-President of the Massachusetts Orthopedic Association.
