Tuesday | March 11, 2014 | Featuring Dan Rosenheck, Harvard College Class of 2004, Professional Services Correspondent and Sport Editor at "The Economist"

Dan Rosenheck, Harvard College Class of 2004, took over as Professional Services Correspondent in July 2013, while continuing as Sports Editor at The Economist. Prior to this position, he was the Online Americas Editor, editing the paper's blogs on the Americas (Americas View) and sports for Game theory. Formerly, he was a correspondent in Argentina and its Mexico City bureau chief. Mr Rosenheck also writes about baseball for the New York Times. He first joined The Economist as an intern in 2004.

Dan will speak about his experience writing for Game theory, the blog on Economist.com, which analyzes politics, economics, science and statistics of the games we play and watch. He will share his thoughts on developing a new Economist-style genre of sports-writing.

The Economist is a weekly international news and business publication, offering clear reporting, commentary and analysis on world current affairs, business, finance, science and technology, culture, society, media and the arts. As noted on its contents page, The Economist's goal is to "take part in a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress." The Economist is read by more of the world's political and business leaders than any other magazine. In March 2012 print circulation stood at over 1.5m while digital circulation was 123,000.
