Seattle is College Bound

Give back to the local community by talking about your experience in high school and college, the college application process, and life after college.

We'll be meeting with middle school students and their families who might not normally consider going to college.

The Harvard Club of Seattle is partnering with the College Success Foundation, College Bound Scholarship Program, and Seattle Public Schools to bring Middle School Early College Awareness to Seattle.

We are looking for 15 to 20 recent college graduates to participate in small group discussions with the middle school students and their families about going to college.  The conversation is about going to any 4 year or 2 year college, how to start thinking and planning for college, and what college is really like.  Is it a lot of hard work – yes.  Is it a lot of fun – yes.  Will you make new friends that you will keep for the rest of your life – yes.  What is life like after college?

This is a great opportunity for community service to help 6th, 7th, and 8th graders think about their future.
