Team teach computer science at local high schools

TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) recruits, mentors and places high-tech professionals who are passionate about digital literacy and computer science (CS) education in high school classes as part-time teachers in a team teaching model. Classes are scheduled first period so that TEALS teachers can teach before their work day starts. School teachers are paired with TEALS teachers so they may eventually teach the course on their own. In this way, TEALS helps high schools grow a sustainable CS program.
