Nationwide, Harvard had a record 35,022 applicants, of whom just 5.8% were offered admission. Of the record 494 applicants from our area, 14 were offered admission with 12 choosing Harvard, giving our region an extraordinary 86% yield. That's four points higher than the national yield of 82%, which is the highest since the class of 1973.

Thank you to all the alumni who interviewed applicants during this year’s admissions process. As always, a very special thanks goes to the SWAT team, lead by Rob Neate, which took great care to help admitted applicants better appreciate the merits of a Harvard education. Well done!

If you're eager to meet these newest members of our community, please join us on August 11 for the Annual Picnic at Windemere Beach Club. RSVP now.
