Harvard Prize Book

Volunteers Needed (Deadline: April 30, 2015)

It is time to start the Harvard Prize Book process for this year. 2014 marked another successful Program year for the Harvard Club of Seattle. Last year, 26 area schools participated in our Program thanks to the wonderful efforts of our Prize Book Liaisons.

If you were one of the 2014 Liaisons, you should have already received an email with the nomination form for your school from the Prize Book Coordinator.

There are several unassigned schools, for which we are still seeking liaisons. Please consider reaching out to your school district where you live or work.

For those not already familiar with the Prize Book program, basic information can be found here.

Liaisons are responsible for:

1) Contacting the respective high schools and sending them information (which you will receive from the Prize Book Chair) to help them select a student award recipient.

2) Delivering the prizes at an appropriate awards ceremony, such as commencement or other end-of the year ceremony, (this is usually in May or June.)

This should not be a large time commitment, but you are all critical to the success of the program.

Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions, please email Jose S. Cruz EdM '08 at Jose.Cruz.Ph@gmail.com or call Jose at 253-514-8413.
