Chief Chocophile, Lauren Adler, will lead a chocolate tasting that helps you use all of your five senses to evaluate chocolate from a number of different regions.  Learn to identify quality chocolate and how chocolate is made.  You'll learn about fine, flavor cacao and what goes into making a world-class bar of artisan chocolate.

Like wine, chocolate has distinct flavor profiles that develop from the surrounding terroir, as well as from the skills of the farmer and the chocolate maker.  Bars of chocolate might taste fruity, smoky or earthy.  They might have notes of cherry, cashews or green banana.  Lauren will help you navigate the world of chocolate, opening your taste buds to new chocolate experiences.

Located in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, Chocolopolis invites customers to discover a world of chocolate.  Featuring one of the country’s largest curated collections of single-origin chocolate bars from around the globe, Chocolopolis also offers world-class confections handmade in its on-site kitchen, cups of rich drinking chocolate and other delicious chocolate treats.  No visit to Seattle is complete without a cup of Chocolopolis’ rich drinking chocolate, named by Travel + Leisure and Fodor’s as one of America’s best hot chocolates.

Chocolopolis is offering a 10% discount on all purchases made that evening.
