Call for Volunteers: Dream Project Admissions Workshop Weekend

Help high school seniors pursue their college dreams

Join us in helping first-generation and low-income high schoolers achieve their college aspirations. The University of Washington Dream Project is seeking writing tutors to assist up to 700 students with their college applications, including personal statements and resumes. Many of these students will be the first in their families to attend college and are unlikely to receive this assistance elsewhere.

Date:  Saturday, November 19, 2016

Time:  12:30pm - 3:45pm    Mandatory training/orientation: 12:30pm~1:15pm    Assisting students with college applications & essays: 1:15pm-3:45pm

Location:  University of Washington - Mary Gates Hall (map)

Address:  1851 NE Grant Lane, Seattle, WA 98195

Parking:  $40 per vehicle on-campus since there is a Huskies football game.
Best parking area is the  Central Garage at 15th Avenue NE and NE 41st Street.

Tell the gate attendant you are attending Admissions Workshop Weekend and not the footbal game.

Public Transportation:  By bus use "15th Ave NE & NE Campus Pkwy" as your destination on http://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/.

Registration (required): Click here to register. PLEASE READ: Be sure to select "12:30pm-3:45pm" as your available time slot. When asked "What organization are you affiliated with?" be sure to write "Harvard Club."
