Reception/Lecture with HBS Professor Nancy Koehn

Meet Harvard Business School Professor Nancy Koehn, the James E. Robinson Chair of Business Administration, and hear her speak on her new book, Forged in Crisis: The Power of Courageous Leadership in Turbulent Times.

In her latest work, Forged in Crisis: The Power of Courageous Leadership in Turbulent Times, HBS Professor Nancy Koehn identifies the conditions that inspire true leadership by exploring the disparate lives of five remarkable figures—polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, abolitionist Frederick Douglass, Nazi-resisting clergyman Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and environmental crusader Rachel Carson—and the adversity-born leadership they share in common. Koehn’s examination equips us all with powerful models to call on in moments of critical decision-making. Join us for this riveting discussion and a drinks reception beforehand with Professor Koehn.
